Red Cross doesn’t give any details
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) doesn’t give any details on what they are going to do after the search for bodies of deceased soldiers carried out by the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides. “As for the other phases and the end of actions, I cannot give other details, taking into consideration that it is a part of dialogue. I can only say that the whole operation isn’t over. The operation will be over, when the families from two sides, which are waiting for news, get answers. Only then we can confirm that the operation is over,” Zara Amatuni, Head of Communication Projects at the ICRC Yerevan Office, told “A1+”. To remind, on April 8, with the arrangement reached beforehand, with the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides carried out search for the bodies of dead soldiers, as a result of which the Armenian side found the bodies of Junior Sergeant Robert Alexander Abajyan (born in 1996) and private Andranik Atom Zohrabyan (born in 1996). Davit Babayan, press secretary of President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, noted that it will take 2-3 days to end the search and withdrawal of bodies of deceased soldiers.
