As it has been reported, today as of 12:00 two sides have declared halt to fighting at Karabakh-Azerbaijani border. “At present there is an agreement on the cessation of fire. Let’s see, how long it will last, especially taking into consideration the so called peculiarities of Azerbaijan,” spokesperson for the NKR President Davit Babayan told “A1+”. But there isn’t any news on resuming talks. During the military operations our soldiers met people speaking Turkish, Arabic, “It means, that there are grounds to claim that there is a large number of mercenaries. Our servicemen heard them talking. Here are many other circumstances; about 1000 volunteers from Azerbaijan left for Syria, Iraq to fight in the ranks of Islamic State. Most of them were servicemen from Azerbaijani armed forces. What’s more, there is some data, according to which the mercenaries and terrorists were engaged in mass plunder in Azerbaijani settlements, where the population had left the area- in the territories bordering Artsakh.” Today the RF Prime Minister will arrive in Armenia. In reply to the question, whether there is any connection in it in the context of the cessation of fire, Mr Babayan replied, “I cannot present any connection, but it is a fact that Russia, the USA and France are the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair countries. In addition, presidents of Russia and France, as well as the US Secretary of State and Vice President publicly presented the stance of their countries by noting that the armed version of conflict resolution is simply unacceptable.” Mr Babayan said that in spite of the cessation of fire, the NKR DA remains alert.
