Naira Zohrabyan: Xopan.am calls for emigration (video)
Armenian lawmaker Naira Zohrabyan was taken by surprise when she received a message from a website called xopan.am. She tried to know who the employer was, but was unable to find out. During the Wednesday sitting of the National Assembly, the lawmaker asked Justice Minister Arpine Hovhannisyan why our citizens receive messages of that kind. “What does this mean? Does it mean that migration is encouraged on a state level? How could thousands of people receive a message with the same content?” she said adding that the message was apparently a call for migration. “I also received the message and I am surprised as much as you are,” Arpine Hovhannisyan said excluding state intervention. “But if we look at it from the legal point of view, any person can spread provide such information,” she added.
