Residents to Taron Margaryan: “Spend less to satisfy demands of people” (video)
The residents, who were affected by the North Avenue, again gathered outside the Government building to voice their complaints. They were demanding compensation for their flats, “Several families are left, Taron says that he hasn’t got money. If you don’t have money, how do you spend one million on buying coffee and chocolate for your employees? Spend less and satisfy the demands of these people,” noted Knarik Arakelyan, one of the residents. Holding the posters they were vociferating “Shame-shame”, “imposters”. Retired pilots were also outside the Government building. They were demanding compensation for their work, “During the past ten years we got compensation from the state, as once we did dangerous work and have various health problems. We all have category of disability. And at present- nothing. When I speak to my friend pilots, who live in other countries, they are surprised how we are treated in our country,” noted former pilot Razmik Khachatryan. He reminded that Prime Minister invited them, spoke to them, made promise that he would solve the issue, but everything has remained up in the air.
