Armenia’s chess trio follows 12 leaders
Three members of Armenian men’s chess team- Gabriel Sargsyan, Sergey Movsesyan and Hrant Melkumyan, started successfully in the Reykjavik Open 2016 chess tournament. After three rounds our chess players scored 2.5 points and are very close to 12 leaders, who showed 100 percent result at the beginning. In today’s fourth round our chess players will face opponents having lower class and in case of success they will enter into top ten. Our compatriot, women’s Grandmaster Tatev Abrahamyan, who represents the USA, also has 2.5 points and also follows the leaders of the tournaments.
