Our wrestler got an injury during a training camp
Armenia freestyle wrestling team member Levan Berianidze will not participate in the European Championship, informs the ANOC press office. “Levan has got an injury during a training camp and hasn’t recovered yet. As we have the Olympics ahead of us we decided not to take a risk,” said head coach of the freestyle wrestling team Arayik Baghdadyan. Levan Berianidze (125kg) is still the only wrestler who has got an Olympic qualification. European Wrestling Championship 2016 will be held in Latvia, Riga on March 8-13.
