Bavra checkpoint closed from Georgian side
The RA Ministry of Finance informed the RA MTAES Crisis Management National Center that there is strong storm in Ninotsminda-Zhdanovakan highway in the territory of Georgia, as a result of which Bavra checkpoint is closed from the Georgian side. The RA MTAES Crisis Management National Center contacted the citizens, who were in the neutral zone of Armenia-Georgia border. They were informed about the situation and were asked to come back in order to refrain from possible traffic jams. The RA MTAES urges drivers not to use the abovementioned highways. Road cleaning activities are being carried out in the territory of Georgia. Additional information will be provided.
