Manchester City is eager to arrange the transfer of Lionel Messi at all costs, The Sun reports. The source says the club has offered the Argentinean striker 27 million euros (net). Lionel Messi now gets 20 million euros annually, part of which is paid in taxes. If Messi accepts the proposal he will become the world's highest paid footballer. Barcelona also wants to extend its contract with Messi which ends in June 2018. Messi has said nothing about his decision to move to Englad or continue to play for the Catalan club.
