Aram Manukyan: We have two opponents - Serzh and our indifference (video)
I am turning now to the supporters of the opposition who are hooked on to Facebook and Internet, in kitchens and on coaches, you are all good, very good. Facebook is really a good thing. If we have gathered 10 000 people here, in this square, you are 100 000 there on the Internet. Those 100 000 are supporters of the “No” camp, but they had better come and join us in the square,” opposition lawmaker Aram Manukyan started his speech at rally in Liberty Square with these words. “Galust Grigorich (Speaker of the National Assembly) is not afraid of the Internet and others do not view the social network as a civil force. This government is afraid of real people who are standing here, next to us. It would be much better if you were here too, standing on our side,” he continued. Mr Manukyan said it is very important that people realize the importance and seriousness of December 6 referendum, since it is a battle for the present and future Armenia. “Either we shall allow this pack, these gluttons with an enormous appetite to continue in the same way or we shall eventually hold fair elections. We have two opponents – Serzh [Sargsyan] and our indifference. I do not know which of them is stronger but I know that they can win us if they unite,” he said.
