During today’s parliamentary briefings, Head of the Republican Party faction Vahram Baghdasaryan said the first phase of the campaign in the constitutional referendum was ' exploratory.' “Both camps are engaged in campaigning like a single family. A new political culture is emerging thanks to “Yes” and “No” campaigners,” he said. He says the authorities are expressing the opinion of the majority of people through the constitutional amendments. “We have simply joined that opinion,” Mr Baghdasaryan said. Regarding the statement of opposition lawmaker Levon Zuranyan who said “No” will win in the end, the Republican lawmaker said, “It is about 15 years Levon Zurabyan has been living a second childhood but it lasts a bit longer. Anyway, we shall get adapted to it.” He added that at the beginning of December Serzh Sargsyan will give a press conference on the constitutional changes.
