Football: Edgar Malakyan disqualified for hitting his opponent from FC Mika
The Disciplinary Committee of the Football Federation of Armenia has disqualified Edgar Malakyan, a footballer of FC Shirak Gyurmi, disallowing him to participate in the next four matches, the FFA Press Service reports. The minutes of the Committee’s recent meeting of the Disciplinary Committee states that during the Armenian Cup ¼ final Malakyan hit his opponent from FC Mika for which he was disqualified. Also, Shirak was fined in the amount of 100 000 drams. At the same time, Mika was fined 20 000 drams for starting the match later than it was scheduled.
