Hrant Melkumyan to face Zoltán Almási in next round
Hrant Melkumyan successfully performed at the qualifying round of the Corsican Circuit-2015, scoring 7,5 points of 9. Now he is in the lead with Igor Kovalenko of Latvia. Armenia;s Karen Movsisyan finished 21st with 6,5 points and dropped out of the competition. In Round 2 run on the knockout principle, Melkumyan faced GM Daniel Fridman of Germany. The Armenian GM won two rounds and entered the quarter-finals where he will face Zoltán Almási of Hungary.
