Sona Shahgeldyan on celebration: “Event isn’t mandatory, it isn’t of much importance”
Singer Sona Shahgeldya is ready to take part in Erebuni-Yerevan celebration for free, so that her honorarium is transferred to the border villages, “I always help, simply, I don’t like PR. I will take part with great pleasure and will transfer my honorarium to the border villages.” In reply to the question by “A1+”, whether it is right to hold such a luxurious celebration in Yerevan during these days, the singer answered, “No, I think an event shouldn’t be held. I am not an employee of the Municipality, I respect their decision, their events, naturally, but if the situation is so tense, I don’t know, no.” Sona Shahgeldyan confessed that she is in bad mood because of tense situation at the border. The singer suggests organizing a charitable action instead of that event and she will take part in it with great pleasure, “I will help our soldiers, the residents living in border villages with great pleasure.” The singer thinks that there are also other problems in Armenia, which must be solved, “Event isn’t mandatory, it isn’t of much importance.”
