Lilit Mkrtchyan competes for 3rd place
Armenian Grandmaster Lilit Mkrtchyan will compete for the third place at the international chess tournament in Poland. In Round 7 held on September 22, Lilit played a tie with Karina Shepkovska-Horovska of Poland to share 3rd-4th places with 4 points. Today, the Armenian GM will face the outsider of the tournament, International Master Cristina Adela Foișor, of Romania. She needs to win her Romanian rival to stay in the top trio.
