Armenian freestyle wrestlers started Las Vegas 2015 2015 World Championships in Las Vegas with defeats. In the qualifying round, Armenia’s David Safaryan (65 kg) beat with great difficulty Gómez Matos of Puerto Rican but lost to Azerbaijan's Togrul Asgaro at the 1/16 finals. Today, Armenian wrestlers Vaolodya Frangulyan, Musa Murtazaliev and Edgar Yenokyan will compete in the following weight categories - 61, 86 and 97.
