CEC discussed changes
The law of the Republic of Armenia on Making Amendments and Changes to the RA Law on Referendum entered into force on July 19, 2015, and accordingly there is a need to adopt various legal acts (orders, rules) in order to ensure the full regulation of legal relations, the Central Election Commission said on its website [http://www.elections.am] Taking into consideration the above mentioned, today the CEC passed about 20 decisions which define the forms of the documents necessary for organizing and holding referenda, the procedures of filling in and maintenance thereof. The CEC also made amendments and changes to a number of CEC decisions, defining that the provisions of CEC decisions on regulating separate legal relations during national elections would be applicable for organizing and holding referenda. During the session Tatevik Asatryan, the only candidate who had submitted an application, was appointed a member of Territorial Electoral Commission № 17 in Ararat Marz.
