Andrias Ghukasyan: Serzh Sargsyan made an oligarchic, illegitimate proposal
The Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) proposed to handle the problem in an illegitimate way because only the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) can do it, political analyst Andrias Ghukasyan said on Sunday on Baghramyan Avenue when commenting on Serzh Sargsyan’s recent statement. “He [Serzh Sargsyan] suggested a format that is not legal. Solving problems at the expense of oligarchs is typical of oligarchs. Speaking on the behavior of the deputy chief of Yerevan police who repeatedly calls on citizens to stop protests against rising electricity prices, Mr Ghukasyan said he thinks protests should be continued. “I think the country is in a state of emergency and in the given situation we should be guided by the constitution and the law,” he said.
