Roman Amoyan to fight for bronze medal in Baku
Greco-Roman wrestler Roman Amoyan representing Armenia will fight for a bronze medal of the first European Games in Baku. Today our 59 kg weight category wrestler started his campaign with victory by defeating Portugal’s representative in 1/8 final. But in the next round Roman Amoyan lost to Stepan Maryanyan representing Russia. The latter also defeated Azerbaijan’s representative Mukhtarov and entered the final. So, Roman Amoyan entered relief tournament. In the first fight he defeated Norway’s representative Fonnesbeck and will fight for a bronze medal. Our wrestler will face an Azerbaijani sportsman in the fight for a bronze medal. The fight starts at 19:00.
