Alexander Mirzoyan taken to hospital
Alexander Mirzoyan, a former footballer of FC Ararat Yerevan, has been hospitalized, RussianWeek.ru reports. According to the preliminary reports, the 63-year-old sportsman had pain in the abdomen. The examination revealed that Mirzoyan had gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding. Alexander Mirzoyan played in Neftchi PFK (1969 – 1974), in Ararat Yerevan (1975–1978), and Spartak Moscow (1979 – 1983). Since 1994, he has been the president of the Russian Football Veterans Union.
