Our judiciary isn’t free of judicial mistakes. Justice Minister is sure that the judgments passed against the RA mustn’t have financial implications for the judges. “It is a wrong solution. It is a wild and ferocious solution, I am against it. Disciplinary responsibility can be an alternative,” noted Justice Minister in the interview with journalists after the Government session. According to his words, inaccurate judgments are the result of imperfection of our judiciary, “There mustn’t be revenge, lynching won’t result in anything good, there are legal mechanisms, which must be followed.” Touching upon the issue of keeping arrested FP member Gevorg Safaryan together with 27 people, when there are only 8 beds, the Minister noted that he dealt with that issue every day and immediately after publication he gave instructions to clarify the situation. According to his words, the Ministry deals with the issue of improvement of conditions in the prisons, but prisons have the problem of overloading. Hovhannes Manukyan states that besides the construction of new “Armavir” prison, they are trying to improve the condition of other 11 prisons. “There are prisons, which should be destroyed and rebuilt,” said the Minister. By the way, Hovhannes Manukyan didn’t answer the question about detention of members of the Founding Parliament and suggested applying to the Investigative authorities.
