Putin, Merkel and Poroshenko had a telephone conversation
Vladimir Putin, Angela Merkel and Petro Poroshenko had a telephone conversation during which they discussed the ceasefire regime in Ukraine announced in Minsk, the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the country and the situation in the area of Debaltsevo, informs press service of Kremlin. Besides, they exchanged views on the role of the OSCE monitoring mission at the current stage of the process. Yesterday the leaders of France, Germany and Ukraine had a telephone conversation. They expressed their concern that the armed struggle continues in the area of Debaltsevo. Earlier Ukraine announced that until the separatists continue bombarding, they aren’t ready to withdraw the heavy weapons from the conflict zone. So the terms of Minsk agreement aren’t implemented.
