“Dinamo” wrestlers fail in Iran

The first Greco-Roman World Wrestling Clubs Cup was held in Abadan city, Iran. “Dinamo” sports company team represented Armenian at this championship. Our sportsmen weren’t able to overcome group round and left the fight. Armenian wrestlers ended the first round in a draw (4:4) with Iranian team. At the next two rounds “Dinamo” lost to the representatives of Turkey and Cuba and took the last place in its group. Only Edgar Sargsyan made a good impression and won all the matches. Iranian team “Pastor” became the winner of the championship, which defeated the team of Rostov-on-Don with 6:2 score. The champion and the silver medalist received 25000 and 15000 dollars award.
