Parents meet their soldier sons in NKR
With the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan already for the second year, the parents of soldiers living in Yerevan got a chance to visit their sons. On December 5-6 within the frames of this year’s visit, about 950 parents of soldiers will leave for the units in Tavush, Syunik regions and NKR DA. Before the departure, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan wished good luck to the parents. Mayor Taron Margaryan ensured once more that Yerevan Municipality is always ready to support soldiers from Yerevan. Stressing the importance of this initiative the parents of the soldiers congratulated Taron Margaryan and Seyran Ohanyan for the attitude and special attention. It is important to note that besides the meetings of the parents and soldiers in borderline military units, according to the agreement between Yerevan Municipality and RA Defense Ministry with NKR Defense Army, the soldiers from Yerevan get a chance to meet their parents and relatives also in Yerevan. The Mayor was informed that all the necessary measures taken to organize the visit are over. It was also noted that this time traffic Police cars will accompany the comfortable buses provided for the visit of the parents along the road, and there will be doctors among the attendants in the buses.
