Why Armenians call Russia 'Big Brother'...
There were no other nations before us, Head of the ARF-Dashnaktsutyun faction Armen Rustamyan said during today’s parliamentary briefings.
This came after Republican party lawmaker Mher Sedrakyan said ‘Armenians have always lived under the yoke of other nations and will live much better under the yoke of Russians.’ Then why is Russia called ‘Big Brother’ by Armenians?
“The reason is that Russia has a greater territory. Do you think that we should call Russia “elder brother?” said Mr Rustamyan.
He said that his party has always stated that Armenia should maintain friendly relations with Russia.
