Levon Aronyan takes the third place
International TASHIR Chess Tournament in memory of World 9th champion Tigran Petrosyan ended in Moscow. Scoring 5.5 points from 7 possible Russian Grand Master Alexander Grischuk became the winner of the tournament. World former champion Vladimir Kramnik is the second, who scored one point less than the winner. Armenian strongest chess player Levon Aronyan had to win Ernesto Inarkiev in the last round in order to take the third place. Our chess player was very confident during the round and on the 65th step he made the opponent surrender. So, Levon Aronyan had his first and only victory in the tournament, scored 4 points and took the third place.
