Sevak Serobyan becomes world champion
Armenian wrestler Sevak Serobyan (50 kg w/c) has won the gold medal at the World Deaf Wrestling Cadet and Junior Championships underway in Yerevan. The Greco-Roman wrestler beat all his contenders to take the lead at the championships, reports the Wrestling Federation of Armenia. Earlier, Armenia’s Samvel Hovhannisyan (54 kg) and Argishti Babayan had won silver medals. Freestyle wrestling tournament will be held on October 7 and 8.
