Hovhannes Gabuzyan is now on the 8th place
Armenian chess players continue the struggle for European Grand Cup within the frames of “Albena- 2014” international tournament. After 4 rounds our Grand Master Hovhannes Gabuzyan performs successfully, who is on the 8th place with 3.5 points. He has only half points less than two leaders, who have had 4 victories. Experienced Grand Master Vladimir Hakobyan has 3 points, Tigran L. Petrosyan and Tigran S. Petrosyan- 2.5 points. We note that the tournament is held with Swiss system, 9 rounds. Today in the 5th round Hovhannes Gabuzyan will compete with Turkish chess player Dragan Solaki with whites. Vladimir Hakobyan will compete with Turkish international master Burak Firat, Tigran L. Petrosyan with Indonesian Syah Farid, Tigran S. Petrosyan with Dayan Ninov.
