A few days ago, a citizen alerted the hotline of the RA Food Safety Inspectorate that he had bought butter from the Elnor brand in one of the shops in Avan district of Yerevan and only when he got home, he saw that the expiration date of the butter was over.

Specialists of the inspection body conducted control activities at the sales point of Vahe Verdyan, as a result of which a large amount of food with expired date was found.

To note, expired food has been destroyed on the spot.
