NSS arrests servicewoman spying for Azerbaijan
Armenia's National Security Service has detained a servicewoman in Kapan city in southeastern Syunik province on suspicion of spying for Azerbaijan.
According to NSS Mane Movsisyan, 31, a resident of Kapan, got acquainted with Azeri secret agents through social networking websites- Facebook, Odnoklassniki who were registered as Seryan Dervisyan and Tigran Dervisyan, and gave them top secret military information. She later continued correspondence with them after being recruited at the RA Defense Ministry.
The National Security Service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic detained two persons, including one NKR army soldier, for a similar crime. The detainees turned out to have been providing military information to the aforesaid Azerbaijani Azeri secret agents.
Investigation is underway.
