Earthquake in Armenia
A 2.9 magnitude earthquake struck seven km south-west from Armenia's Spitak city [in norther Lori province] at around 2:38 June 24. The quake measured 4 at the epicenter.
The hypocenter was at the depth of 10 km.
According to preliminary reports, the earthquake was felt in the cities of Spitak and Vanadzor, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
