Apartment building to be built for Syrian Armenians
Considering the ongoing conflict in Syria that does not inspire any hopes for peace in the near future, Help Your Brother civil initiative has turned into a permanent eponymous charitable foundation. The Foundation remains committed to the charitable undertakings of the civil initiative and will continue helping Syrian Armenians.
It will continue to render assistance to vulnerable families that have settled in the Republic of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, providing them with food, medicine, etc. The Foundation will also help them solve the housing problem.
Based on the applications of Syrian Armenians, the Foundation has applied to the Armenian government and reached a preliminary agreement to construct an apartment building [for Syrian Armenians] by a charitable program.
The residential building will be constructed in Davtashen administrative district under another agreement reached between the Yerevan Municipality and the Foundation.
The Foundation asks all Syrian Armenians who want to get on the list to apply to Help Your Brother Charitable Foundation for registration in the coming three days.
