Polish film director Krzysztof Zanussi due in Yerevan
Krzysztof Zanussi, a Polish producer and film director, Cannes laureate, is due to arrive in Armenia on June 6. In Yerevan, the scriptwriter will hold master classes on June 6 and 7.
Zanussi is arriving in Armenia within the framework of "In Highest Courses of Film Directory" project implemented by Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema in collaboration with the Hay Art Cinema. The project envisages a series of master classes by famed arts figures.
On the sidelines of the projects, parts of films directed by thePolish producer will be shown and commented by him. Also, master classes were held by Artavazd Peleshyan, an Armenian director of film-essays, a documentarian in the history of film art, and a film theorist, Irakli Kvirikadze, a Georgian film director, screenwriter and teacher, Sergei Solovyov, a Russian director, producer, writer and actor, and others.
The course is led by Roman Balayan, a film director, screenwriter, People's Artist of Ukraine.
