Based on its application, Tonus Construction Company will be recognized bankrupt within a month while the company has left a lot of unfinished apartments behind.

On May 24, some 40 residents of Yerevan's Papazyan street were again outside the Ministry of Finance, demanding their apartments which they have not received to this day.

In fact, Tonus has pawned these apartments in Artsakh bank as collateral for its debts, which can be sold by the bank at auction. Tonus started the construction of the multi-apartment building in 2007 and promised to finish it in 2009, paying 0,1 percent for each day if it failed to complete the works before the fixed deadline. However, the company has failed to comply with the contractual obligations.

The angered citizens were received by Hayk Davtyan, ad advisor to the Finance Minister, who promised to intervene in the solution of the problem.
