Indian garden to be constructed in Yerevan
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan received Wednesday Indian Ambassador to Armenia Shri Suresh Babu.
Taron Margaryan congratulated the Indian diplomat on his appointment as Ambassador to Armenia. He stressed the existing high-level Armenian-Indian relations and the importance of developing bilateral ties between the cities of both countries.
The interlocutors also discussed the construction of an Indian garden in Yerevan's Malatia-Sebastia administrative district.
The Yerevan Mayor stressed that numerous parks are being reconstructed in the Armenian capital in order to expand green zones. He also said that Yerevan Municipality is ready to assist [within its jurisdiction] the Embassy in the implementation of similar projects.
