Safety of food guarantees the most important of all rights: the right of life. Back in 2010 PM Tigran Sargsyan said, "The food for sale in Armenia must be of good quality and safe. We have promised control in that field, there must not be any regress".
Providing with safe food is the duty of state bodies, yet each of us has an important role in that. You should call 43-40-40 hot line number if:
1. You have met food with expired date of consumption.
2. There are no marks on the food about its expiry date, place of production, information about the producer/importer.
3. The marks on the package are illegible.
4. Food and non-edible goods are sold in the same department in the store.
5. The sanitary conditions are not proper in the store.
We must systematically continue the positive process which is already in action and foster the altogether cancellation of bad food in our markets.
