Bodies of Armenians killed in Russia transferred to Yerevan

The bodies of two Armenian citizens killed in a traffic accident in Petushinski District of Vladimirskaya Oblast (Region) of Russia on April 9, have been transported to Armenia.

The bodies of Sasunik Sargsyan and Zurab Avagyan were brought to Yerevan on Friday morning. The bodies of the other three Armenians - Vardan Vardanyan, Artyom Khachatryan, and Artur Khachatryan will be transferred to Armenia later in the day.

Armen Vardanyan (born in 1966), who was injured in the accident, is still in a Moscow hospital. Doctors describe his condition as heavy but stable.

A huge accident occurred on Tuesday in Petushinski District of Vladimirskaya Oblast (Region) of Russia. The passengers of the Gyumri-Moscow flight, which landed on Monday at 6:57pm, were heading to the Russian capital in a Gazelle-model minibus which crashed into a Volvo truck nearBoldino residential area, killing at least eight persons.
