April Fools' Day: Nikolay Tsaturyan wants to become President
Honored Art Worker of Armenia, Director Nikolay Tsaturyan wants to become President and he is confident of his victory.
Talking to reporters on April Fools' Day, Mr Tsaturyan presented his campaign platform consisting of four points.
"First, I have already talked to the Masons and arranged the upcoming shooting on me. Second, I am working on a new epos, I think that ours is already outdated. Third, I have already arranged to rescue a passenger who supposedly will feel sick on a plane. Finally, I am going to start a three-month hunger strike and if I am unable to end it, Armenia will be saved from another fool," he said.
Nikolay Tsaturyan has posted his joke on his Facebook page.
Every day, on April 1, the art director recalls various episodes from the lives of great actors. He does not share the opinion that the theater is on the verge of collapse.
"The largest theater is in the parliament. Theater will not die as long as the parliament exists," he said adding that not only theater, but the entire country is on the verge of collapse.
