Chinese school to open in Armenia
The Governments of the Republic of Armenia and the People's Republic of China have signed an agreement on technical-economic cooperation, which envisages the construction of a Chinese school in Armenia. It is implemented in line with the agreement reached between the Presidents of Armenia and China.
A number of joint programs in the fields of agriculture, healthcare and transport have been implemented within the framework of technical-economic cooperation with China since 1999. Under a program signed between the two countries in December 2012, the Chinese side will provide Armenia uncompensated assistance in the amount of 70 million Chinese yuan.
The money will be spent on acquiring customs inspection equipment, as well as on the the construction of the Chinese school.
