Bundestag President due in Armenia
A German delegation headed by Bundestag President Norbert Lammert is due to arrive in Yerevan on Tuesday on a three-day official visit. The delegation is visiting Armenia at the invitation of National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan.
In Yerevan, Norbert Lammert will meet with Serzh Sargsyan, Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. Meetings with members of NA Standing Committees on Foreign Relations and European Integration, as well as members of Armenia-Germany friendship group are also on the visit agenda.
Also, Norbert Lammert will deliver a lecture in the Center of European Studies at Yerevan State University.
The members of the German delegation will visit the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial to pay tribute to the Armenian Genocide victims.
