250 children die from cancer every day
February 15th is International Childhood Cancer Day.
Around 250 children die from cancer every day and 200 000 children are diagnosed with cancer every year.
Every year, about 80-90 children in Armenia are diagnosed with cancer. Some 65 percent of the cases are cured, says Grigor Badalyan, Head of the Child Oncology Department at the National Oncological Center.
