Family of seven children lives on social benefit
Bulvarayin (Boulevards), one of the most neglected districts on the outskirts of Gyumri city, is inhabited by relatively poor families.
The recurrent video of the local Shirak Center NGO tells about the Ohanyan family living on the 9th floor of a multi-storey residential building in the district.
Hayk and Margarita live in the apartment with their seven minor children. The parents do not work and the family lives on social benefit. In winter months the parents heat the apartment with waste materials that comes from a local garbage dump.
