Theater tickets in high demand
Mary Martirosyan, the mother of a 12-year-old disabled girl, is happy to take her daughter to the puppet theater as the theater provides access for wheelchairs.
During the most frantic period of New Year celebrations, almost all theaters in Yerevan have included in their programs jolly shows and performances.
Since December 19, Hovhannes Tumanyan State Puppet Theater has been showing a Christmas performance - The Most Joyful Festivity. The booking clerk says the tickets (AMD 700) are in great demand.
"The plot was very interesting. There were numerous animals and dolls. In the end, Santa Claus appeared and gave gifts," little Arevik Musaelyan told excitedly.
Hovhannes Zakaryan was more impressed with the end of the performance. "It had a happy ending and evil was punished."
