Plane forced to return due to technical disorder
A Boeing 737 flying from Sochi to Yerevan was forced to return to the airport of departure due to technical disorder.
The fault was discovered at 7.20 a.m. immediately after the takeoff. The crew was forced to make an emergency landing, Interfax.by reports.
As a result, the plane arrived at Zvartonts airport in Yerevan at 12.17 instead of 8.30, the airport's website reports.
The flight was operated by Donavia carrier.
On 3 May 2006, an Armavia Airbus A320 crashed into the Black Sea en route from Yerevan to Sochi, killing all 105 passengers and 8 crew on board.
