Police returned baby to her mother
An unsettled family dispute forced a 19-year-old mother to settle in Yerevan with her baby. The women came to Yerevan from Kashatagh province, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
At first, the young mother sought asylum at the Armenian Missionary Association. After receiving their refusal, the mother left her baby there and went to find another shelter. Since the women did not know Yerevan, she got lost in the Armenian capital.
In the meantime, the child was taken to Arabkir medical center. At present the mother and her baby are in Musaler village.
The police are taking measures to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
