Man brutally murdered in Avan district
The police department of Yerevan's Avan district received a report on December 8 that a man's body had been found in one of the apartments in Acharyan street.
On arriving at the scene, a local task force found the body of Shura Abrahamyan (b. in 1949) with traces of violence in the head. Later in the same day, resident of the same district Robert M. (b. in 1959) was invited to the police department for examination where he confessed that he had killed Shura Abrahamyan in his apartment on December 7 by hitting him with a blunt object.
Robert M. is arrested.
