Vahe Avetyan was not wearing sports clothes
One of the military doctors involved in the high-profile Harsnakar case said at today's court hearing that his friend Vahe Avetyan, who was beaten to death in Harsnakar restaurant in June, was not wearing sports clothes on the day of the tragic incident. As Arkadi Aghajanyan said, Vahe was wearing white jeans on that day.
According to official reports, the brawl between the military doctors and the restaurant guards broke out after the latter banned Avetyan from entering the restaurant in sports wear.
Arkadi Aghajanyan also said that among the people, who beat them on June 17, there was an armed man who is not in the dock.
Vahe Avetyan, 35, died in a Yerevan hospital on June 29 after being severely beaten at Harsnakar Restaurant on June 17. The head of ENT Department of the Yerevan Garrison Hospital died without regaining consciousness.
