European Commission President to arrive in Armenia
The President of the European Commission, H.E. José Manuel Barroso, will pay a visit to Armenia on 30 November.
He is scheduled to meet the President of the Republic, Serzh Sargsyan, Speaker of the National Assembly, Hovik Abrahamyan and Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan. The President of the European Commission will also address civil society.
During the meetings, H.E. Barroso will discuss issues, such as EU-Armenia relations, the internal political situation and regional issues, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
Presidents Barroso and Sargsyan will give a joint press conference on 1 December.
