Cyanogen in Meghradzor Resort May Come True
"Meghradzor Gold" LLC has submitted the State Environmental Expertise the project of construction of a gold extracting plant with cyanic technologies in a distance of 0.5-0.6 km from Meghradzor resort area, EcoLur NGO reports.
Cyanic hydrogen will be emitted into atmosphere in the production process, as well as suspension particles, nitrogen, carbon, sulfurous anhydride, dust etc. According to the developers, all these emissions will be within standard ranges. The amount of environmental damage will make up 10,800 AMD per year, but under the law, the company is not even obliged to pay this amount.
As a product, "Meghradzor Gold" intends to obtain dore bar with a content of 80-150 gram of gold and 200-300 gram of silver per ton.
