Bako Sahakyan receives Yerevan Mayor
On 28 September, President of the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan met the delegation of Yerevan Municipality led by Mayor Taron Margaryan.
Issues related to further deepening ties between the two Armenian capitals were discussed during the meeting.
Bako Sahakyan noted that expanding relations with the Armenian capital, which possessed great potential, would substantially boost socioeconomic development of Stepanakert and the whole Artsakh. Within this context, he welcomed the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the Yerevan and Stepanakert city administrations qualifying it as a necessary legal basis for further cementing interrelations.
Bako Sahakyan also handed in the "Gratitude" medal to the director of the "Nork-Marash" medical center Lida Mouradyan for services rendered to Artsakh.
Mayor of Stepanakert Souren Grigoryan, Healthcare Minister Zoya Lazaryan and other officials partook at the meeting, Artsakh President's press service reports.
