During the consultation held by the government today, Serzh Sargsyan expressed his dissatisfaction that there are problems related to procurement and the state budget management in numerous spheres, including urban development, transport and communication, defense, healthcare, and especially control of the drug market.

Serzh Sargsyan instructed the National Security Service and the Office of Prosecutor General to address these problems. «I want all of you to become - not formally, but in earnest - our allies in this issue and to be interested in solving the problems raised, » Serzh Sargsyan told the consultation participants.

In response, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan assured the Armenian president that the government will examine closely the problems raised at the consultation, and a timetable of measures to deal with the indicated problems will be submitted to the president. «Mr. President, all the opinions expressed by you have a sobering effect and prompt all of us to make changes in our activities, and we will implement them without fail, » the prime minister said.
